Ben Nissen has always had a special love for the macabre, and the beautiful. Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, his early years were spent developing skills as a visual artist: drawing offensive comic books, and making intentionally gory sci-fi films and dramas that were unintentionally hilarious. He graduated from Columbia College in 2005 with a degree in Cinematography, and currently produces, directs, and edits short films for Groupon.
